Down but not out tree

Sometimes, they’re not too skittish. Saves having to wait hours in a blind if you can just ease up on them by bicycle.

Note the Kansas wind-blown trees, always a welcome sight. Around here they say other states have “tree problems.”

For some reason, I thought this was an eagle, until I looked through the telephoto. Just another turkey vulture.

This is the same dude I shot the other day, spooking him when I stopped the van so much that he dropped his lunch, a frog.
